Suspect Remains on the Lam

On November 26th, 2018, detectives with the San Juan County Sheriff's Office were dispatched around 10am, to 4276 US 64 in reference to an armed robbery at the Rollet Smoke Shop in Kirtland, NM. Sheriff's Detectives interviewed the female employee that was present at the time of the robbery and determined that a Hispanic male in his late 20's, entered the store, pointed a silver handgun at her and demanded money. The suspect was given approximately $100 in miscellaneous bills and fled the store in a black passenger car. After viewing the security footage and further investigation, the suspect has been identified as 32-year-old, Leo Lovato.

Leo Lovato is wanted on the charges of Armed robbery (a 2nd degree felony) and Larceny. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Lovato, please do not approach him and contact dispatch at 505-334-6622 as soon as possible.
