On the eve of the struggle for independence, one of America’s forgotten founding fathers - Dr. Joseph Warren, (June 11, 1741 – June 17, 1775) once said said to his fellow Americans:

“Our country is in danger

but not to be despaired of.

On you depend the fortunes of America.

You are to decide the important questions,

upon which rest the happiness and liberty of

millions yet unborn.

Act worthy of yourselves.”

Dr. Warren served as a private soldier and was killed in the Revolutionary war at Bunker’s Hill. The good Doctor’s words ring true still today.
