Dr. Nate McClain to be inducted into the New Mexico Wrestling Hall of Fame

The Aztec Wrestling Nation is proud to announce that Dr. Nate McClain has been selected, and will be inducted into the New Mexico Wrestling Hall of Fame. He will be formally inducted on October 27th, at the Crown Plaza at 1:30 in Albuquerque during the NMHSCA Wrestling Clinic. He was a unanimous choice by the board of directors of the NMWHoF committee in August. Along with Dr. McClain to be inducted, are Steven Chavez and Max Ortega.

Dr. McClain was a member of 3 Aztec High School State Championship Teams in 1997-1998-1999. He also won three individual State Championships and was a 2 time New Mexico Dream Team member. He went on to be an All American for the Triton of Iowa Central, he was ranked 9th in the nation while Wrestling for the University of Nebraska where he received his BA Degree. Dr. McClain ended his Wrestling career with over 200 wins. He then received his Dr. of Chiropractic medicine from the Palmer School of Chiropractic Medicine in Davenport Iowa. He and Lisa along with their two children have set up a practice in Aztec called Adjusted Chiropractic, located in the West Side Plaza, on West Aztec Boulevard.

Dr. McClain is very active in his community and volunteers as a coach with the Aztec Youth and High School Wrestling programs.

Nate becomes the 4th Aztec Coach or Wrestler to receive this prestigious award.
