416 FIRE

Reports have the 416 Fire at just under 55,000 acres, with the fire reduced to mostly a smolder. High rain forecasts have increased confidence, but also pose flash flood dangers. Many evacuees have returned to their home, and the Tri-cities area morning smoke has been much improved.

VANDALS

Continue to deface, and damage local public and private property in the Aztec area, recently targeting a memorial mural.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Tuesday, July 17th, at municipalities across the nation. Come out, meet your neighbors, support the first responders, and have some fun.

POWER OUTAGE

Aztec, and Aztec surrounding areas as well as North and East of Bloomfield were affected by a power outage this week.
