On Wednesday TALON caught up with Aztecs YCC burying irrigation pipe at Desert Planters Mem. Garden on Chaco. The 12 person crew is also planting rose bushes trees and landscaping with gravel and rock. Target to finish week after the Fourth

Twelve YCC crew members ranging in age from 14-19, completed their work at the Splash Park. Now they are landscaping the Memorial Rose Garden with rock, cobble, concrete, and trees. The city pays for these and irrigation materials, which cost about $1500. The YCC crew members have almost finished their summer employment; last day of work is August 2; last project is the ramp for the nearby RV dump.
