The Youth Conservation Corp (YCC) has begun its summer work. Their first project is to install shade structures in front of the Splash Park. As such, the construction zone has been fenced off for safety concerns. People are asked to avoid the main entrance (east side) and access the Splash Park from the south or north sides. Construction of the concrete pads and installation of the shade structures should be completed within 3 weeks. The second project will involve landscaping and concrete work around the Memorial Rose Garden/RV Dump. The RV Dump may be closed at the time concrete pouring occurs, but a specific date has yet to be determined, more than likely after July 4th. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please be considerate to the youth at work. They are improving and beautifying our City.
