At Aztec High School, we not only offer club membership but also an Educator Academy elective class. There is still time to join the class for next year. It is a great option for any students interested in learning more about education or in building their leadership skills. Questions? AHS Key Club returned from District Convention with 1st place in Achievement and Distinguished Club Awards. We also had 2 members recognized for performing 150+ hours of service and 3 members for performing 100+ hours of service this year. The entire club has provided nearly 2000 hours of service to the school and community this year. To win these awards, our members plan and complete a variety of projects throughout the year. Our new Key Club year starts after the convention so we are already working on next year’s projects. It’s not too late for your child to check us out on Thursday mornings 7:30. A light breakfast is served.

Congratulations AHS Track on a great job at the State Track Meet this past weekend

There have been several incidences where parents are dropping off students on Navajo Street or Park Avenue, in the bus lane, or in the parking lot. This causes congestion with traffic and disrupts the bus flow. Several students have ran across Navajo Street unattended, which is a major safety hazard. Many students are crossing the parking lot to get to the cafeteria or the office. This is dangerous as there are often cars coming around the corner that do not see the students. Please, for your students safety, use Hartman Street as the only drop off place. Thanks!
