Aztec Jerry Duane Wallace

October 3, 1937 - February 7, 2018


Jerry Duane Wallace passed to his Heavenly Father on February 7, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. Jerry was born in Princeton, Minnesota to Lloyd and Ethel Wallace. There he married Annmarie Townsend. Jerry attended North Dakota State University and received a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. He did outstanding work at Minneapolis Honeywell, the Athena Missile program at Green River Utah, JPL in Pasadena California, the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and the Super Conducting Super Collider in Dallas, Texas. He was well-respected for his work and leadership in his field, receiving much recognition. He loved his family and was very proud of his 3 children; Kerry Elizabeth of Pavillion, Wyoming, Joni Marie of Tucson Arizona, and David Jerry of Saratoga, Wyoming. He treasured his 7 grandchildren. Jerry was an excellent horseman and outdoorsman. He rode over 2,800 miles in Endurance competitions, winning many awards. He will be sadly missed by his family, many friends, and colleagues. Memorial service to be held at COPE Chapel in Aztec, New Mexico, on April 20, 2018, at 2 p.m.
