MYSTERIOUS ROCKS APPEAR

MYSTERIOUS ROCKS HAVE BEEN APPEARING ALL OVER THE CITY

At Koogler Middle school, there have been many mysterious painted rocks sitting around campus. Some of them include different bible verses, short uplifting quotes, the names of the loved ones lost in the recent tragic event, and even the short phrase "Aztec Strong" that has brought our town together immensely during this time.

They started appearing across the school in numerous places. Such as outside the cafeteria, the parking lots, and on the ground almost everywhere else. They first started appearing in late August with the bible verse "John 3:16" painted on them. Since then, the amount has been multiplied tremendously.

Kelsey Adams, a student at Koogler was asked how the rocks made her feel. She said, "They gave me some sort of hope, and they make me feel like people care. I think it's fantastic what people are doing and I hope it continues."

The artist of these strange rocks is anonymous. Kelsey Adams was also asked if she knew who was putting them out. Her response was "No, but I would love to find out, and thank them. Also to see what inspired them to do it."

The person who created these rocks is doing amazing things to the way the kids at Koogler Middle school see the community. Natalie Larabee, another student at the middle school, said "I feel a sense of comfort here on campus knowing that there are still good people out in the world."

As can be seen, the mysterious rock artist is blessing many of the students who attend Koogler Middle school. His/Her actions have affected many people's lives in an amazing way and will continue to do so if the brightly colored rocks continue to appear around campus.
