James "Jim" Cecil Hall, age 98 passed away January 8th, 2018 at Grace Living Center in Mangum, Oklahoma.

Mr. Hall was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Clovis, New Mexico to Joseph C. and Lena (Armstrong) Hall. Jim was the second of five children born to hisparents. His mother, Lena, died in 1936 when Jim was seventeen years old and entering his junior year of high school.

In 1941, Jim married Margaret Maupin. She died in child birth after delivering a healthy son, James Everett Hall. At the time of his wife's death, Jim was employed as an Assistant English Instructor at a college in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 1942, he enlisted in the Army and went on active duty. he received an Honorable Discharge as Private Hall, Technical School Squadron, at Scott Field, Illinois, on 20th February 1943.

Secondly, Jim married Bette Cruickshank; they resided in New Mexico and Florida during their marriage. Two children were born to this union; Zane and Amanda. Bette died of cancer in 1977.

In 1981, Jim married Frances Jahn, and they spent their entire married life in New Mexico, primarily Aztec, where they were both active golfers. Mrs. Hall passed in Dec. 2010, at the age of 91.

Preceding Jim in death were his wives, parents, his step mother Inez V. Hall; sister, Helen Hall Cross, and three brothers: Jerry Hall, Zane Hall, and John Hall.

Honorary pallbearers include: Joe Head, Terry Higgins, Thurman White, Byron Kelley, Wes Webb, Kevin Adams, Tom Clark, Dink Wicker, Lee Caffey, Leon Hood, Don Cross and W.C. Grant.

No memorial service will be held. Greer's Funeral Home in Oklahoma is handling the cremation. Interrment will be at Riverside Cemetery in the Hall family plot.
