Aztec High School

BEGINNING MONDAY, JAN. 22, ALL STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR THEIR STUDENT ID’S whenever on campus. Each students will receive a free Aztec Strong lanyard this week, but any lanyard or clip which enables them to wear their ID will be acceptable. Students will not be allowed to sit in classes without the ID. If they forget their ID, they will need to report to the Dean’s office. From there, they will have several options to get back into class.

SENIOR PARENTS: PROJECT GRADUATION NEEDS YOU! The next meeting is Monday, January 29 @ Lydia Rippey Cafeteria @ 6pm.

PLAYMAKERS is looking forward to a new start. We are in the process of preparing for a new musical which will be the focal point for this semester. We are also preparing for a trip to the Thespian Festivals in February and we are need of chaperones for the trip. We will also be needing extra hands for the upcoming show, if you know of anyone who loves to sing and act please spread the word.

GOLF PRACTICE began on Monday, January 8 outside of Room 206. Boys will practice Mondays, 1:45-2:45 p.m. and Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m.; Girls will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Koogler Middle School

REPORT CARDS WENT HOME WITH STUDENTS ON FRIDAY 1/12. If your students did not bring it home and you would like a copy please contact the office.

SAN JUAN COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL will be coming to talk about their program with 8th graders on the morning of Jan. 22 at around 8:15 am in the wood gym. Any parents who would like more information on this opportunity are welcome to attend as well.

PEACHES NEET FEET WILL BE VISITING Koogler for a day of Hustle and Art on Friday, Feb. 9. Our Natural Helpers will be assisting with this day and each grade level will get to participate in an hour of fun, collaborative Art.

White Badge Visitor - With this badge you have access to classrooms, cafeteria, playground. Do not use student bathrooms (adult bathrooms are marked). Do not use playground equipment. Children that are brought on campus may NOT use playground equipment (they are not covered by insurance). You must wear this badge and return it to the office when you leave. You must follow all school rules and direction of staff

Park Ave. Elementary

FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE - Remember if your child has temperature over 100 or is vomiting please keep him/her home. Because there are so many illnesses going around, we are requiring students to be fever/vomit free for 24 hours before returning to school.

Lydia Rippey Elementary

WE HAVE A COMMUNITY CUPBOARD set up at Lydia Rippey! This is a cupboard of non-perishable food to help out our community. Please leave what you can and take what you need.
