Koogler Middle School

It’s going to be very cold this month. Please remind your students to wear those jackets and bundle up.

Report cards will go home on Friday, January 12.

Science Fair is Friday, January 12.

Eighth graders will be working on a history presentation which will be due March 2. All presentations will be combined to create a museum exhibit open to students, parents and community members. The students will be working on the project in class and will also need to spend some time at home working on it.

Park Ave. Elementary

Important dates: Monday Jan. 15, no school, Martin Luther King Day,

Thursday, Jan. 25, Parent-Teacher Conferences, students will be released at 12:10.

Friday, Jan. 26, Parent-Teacher Conferences: No school

Wednesday, Feb. 1: Don’t Meth With Us Presentation for 5th graders in the cafeteria. If you wish you may come and listen to the presentation, in which presenters go over the toxic affects of the substances used in meth. If you do not want your child to hear the presentation please let their teacher know.

McCoy Elementary

Family Literacy Night will be held at McCoy Elementary School on Thursday, February 22, 5:00-6:30 pm. This will be a fun night to celebrate reading, with activities for the whole family. There will be free refreshments, door prizes and raffle items. All Aztec pre-school through 5th grade students & families are invited!
