Koogler Middle School

Students returned to school on Thursday, January 4th for normal session. They received an updated copy of their schedule, and students who would like a schedule change (for electives only) were able to sign up in the office.

Report Cards will be going home with students next week due to a delay. We will have more information to come.

The 6th graders won the Penny Wars! They have earned a party day on Monday, January 8th. During this day, 6th graders will be allowed to wear PJs and bring folding chairs and blankets. They will have access to the concession stand and will get to watch movies in the gym.

“Inspire Mentor Training” will be held all day on Wednesday, January 17th. It is an opportunity for approved volunteers to be trained to deliver a weekly mentoring program to 7th and 8th grade students. Interested adult volunteers can pick up a volunteer application in the office.

Park Avenue Elementary

The January menu for breakfast and lunch has been posted on the Park Ave. Facebook page.

There will be no school on Jan. 15 because of Martin Luther King Day.

Classes at Park will be dismissed early (12:10 PM) on Jan. 25 for Parent-Teacher Conferences. There will be no school on Jan. 26.

Feb. 1 will be a Don’t Meth With Us presentation for 5th graders in the cafeteria. Parents are invited to come and listen to the presentation, which will go over the toxic affects of the substances used in meth. If you have a child at Park and do not want them to attend the presentation, please let their teacher know.
