There was a first for the Aztec Wrestling Nation this past weekend. There were four straight days of Wrestling in Lillywhite Gym, with up to seven mats down. On Thursday and Friday, the San Juan Basin Middle School Championships were held. Then, on Saturday, the High School Annual Junior Varsity Round Robin Wrestling Tournament was held. Finally, on Sunday, the New Mexico Junior State Qualifier was hosted in Aztec. This tournament brought kids from all over New Mexico which added a whopping 660 kids to our small town. Wow! What a great weekend for Wrestling in Aztec. This was how we ended, and kicked off the season for the Aztec Wrestling Nation. The High School season is now officially on.

Aztec Wrestling Community building fund update: Due to the exorbitant price of building material caused by the hurricanes earlier this year, we have put off ground breaking until late March, where prices are forecasted to come down. We are currently at $130,000.000 cash in the Citizens bank. We still need to raise 30-40 K more.

Aztec Wrestling still has discount cards for sale for $10. Contact any Aztec Wrestler.
