FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community leaders of America. It is a national organization that was called FHA or Future Homemakers of America. the name changed in 1999. The activities we take part in are selling cookies every Wednesday after lunch to Aztec High School students and staff, attending a Chapter Officer Retreat for Excellence Conference on October 23, 2017 in Albuquerque NM. We had the opportunity to meet other members, and to learn more about being a leader. It taught us how FCCLA members develop a personal leadership style and experience the satisfaction of helping others. We built a float for the Aztec Homecoming Parade, we made cookies and cupcakes for homecoming, and will be doing the same for prom. We are holding FCCLA district competition at Aztec High School in January, we are taking outside cookie orders for holiday parties, and we are also welcome to any donations toward FCCLA State Expenses.
