Tim Gordon

Feat of Clay would like to welcome Tim Gordon as our newest member. Tim, a Farmington native, developed an interest in art at a very early age. At 18, he joined the Air Force. Though he always wanted to be a professional artist, necessity demanded a more dependable income. While working, he continued to pursue art via pen and ink, carving, wood burning and other forms. With renewed interest, in 2006 he began painting seriously and since retiring, has devoted his time to art. Painting in acrylic is his primary medium and he enjoys experimenting in watercolor. He adds variety and interest to his engagement in art with sculpture and works in wood, ceramic and metal.

His art has merited a number of local awards. In 2016 he took Best of Show and the Award of Excellence at the Grant County Art Guild's 31st Annual Purchase Prize Award Show.

He serves as the president of the four Corners Art Association, is on the board of the Northwest New Mexico Arts Council and is a member of the San Juan Collage Fine Arts committee.

And now you can see and obtain his work here at our own Feat of Clay. Welcome Tim!
