According to Pam Elder of Elder's Greenhouse, the vegetables that are in season this week are tomatoes, green chilies, jalapeños, cucumbers, cantaloupes, honeydews, bell peppers (all colors), several different kinds of squash (spaghetti, acorn, butternut and hubbard), pie pumpkins, cabbage, kale and potatoes. Summer squash has slowed down because of the drop in the nighttime temperatures.

Judy Bryson at Sutherland Farms says the vegetables that are in season now are zucchini, yellow squash, calabacita squash, green beans, new red potatoes, gold potatoes, fingerling potatoes, purple, yellow and green bell peppers, poblano peppers, cucumbers, jalapeños, green chili, corn, okra, and red, white and yellow onions.
