Aztec Museum

This charming photo album speaks to the romance and sentimentality of the Victorian era. The cover's Art Nouveau image is on celluloid, an early form of synthetic plastic developed as a substitute for ivory. The base is a music box, which would play a melody when the album was opened. This style of album was popular between 1892 and 1915. The photos in the album seem to be primarily from the early 1900s. This album was donated by Myrna Likin, however most of the photos are unlabeled. Stop by the Aztec Museum to see this wonderful artifact and many more!
