Margaret Cheasebro's newest book

A book signing for local author Margaret Cheasebro’s newest book, Healing with Trees: Finding a Path to Wholeness, will begin at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, June 25, at Fellowship of Spirit, 2008 13th St., between Farmington Ave. and Schofield Ave. The non-fiction book explores connecting with trees in ways that benefit both people and trees.

The book’s first section details experiences the author has had with a variety of trees. Several exercises are included to help people stay better balanced and grounded and to release challenging emotions.

The second section provides tools for successful living and how to use them. Cheasebro learned about these tools while meditating near trees.

Cheasebro of Farmington, worked as a newspaper reporter and editor for 14 years. A retired elementary school counselor, she is a freelance writer who often pens articles for regional magazines.

Healing with Trees: Finding a Path to Wholeness was published by Casa de Snapdragon, a traditional publishing company in Albuquerque. Books will be available at the June 25 book signing.
