Norman Foote

Comic, singer, and puppeteer Norman Foote is a unique performing artist from Vancouver who combines original songs, comedy and "props with an attitude" all to great effect. Foote performs all over the world and we are excited to have him here in Farmington at the Lions Wilderness Amphitheater on Saturday, June 10, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 for students and children and $10 for adults.

Foote is also holding an outreach program on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. The program is free and open to all children six to 12 years old, where he will work with them on songs that will be featured in the evening performance.

Foote has created a special niche in the music world and amassed a cross-generational following. His musicality is like no other, mixing clever hooks, witty wordplay and comedy. His accolades include SOCAN's Best Songwriter Award, US Parents' Choice Awards, and National Publications Parenting Awards' Gold Award, and most recently a JUNO for his CD "Love My New Shirt." Foote has written and recorded songs for Disney Records, Shari Lewis, CBC, Max and Ruby musical and many others. He has performed and worked with millions of people throughout North America, inspiring creativity through his songs, stories and innovative props.
