On Saturday, May 27, at 550 Brewing, bikers and families gathered from all around the region. They came on foot, in car, on bikes and bicycles, each gathered to witness and hopefully win one of the shiny new Harley Davidson cycles offered at this annual fundraising raffle benefiting the Aztec Boys and Girls Club. Food was available from Bryan's BBQ, a Flora Vista based BarBQue outfit serving pulled pork, chicken, and ribs. 550 Brewing had a selection of their local beers available to wash it down, and the crowd was entertained by live blues from Kirk James' Blues Band.

Winners were Michael Pollard – of Erie, Colorado; David Richardson – of Colfax, Washington; Dana Gunn – of Buckeye, Arizona; Ben Davis – of Hudson, Colorado;

The local winner was Sam Henry of Henry Production in Farmington, who went home with a shiny black 2017 1200 T and a smile a mile wide. When asked how he felt upon winning the Harley, Sam said "There are a lot of kids out there that need support, and we are glad to be part of it."

Mike Patch of Aztec B&G Club said "Ms. Richardson realized immediately when she saw my call 'where' and 'why I was calling, so when I asked how she was today, she said 'I'm FANTASTIC!' Ms. Richardson was excited and anxious to tell her husband that SHE WON. She said it was ironic that she "had to move away to win." She is a Farmington native, born and raised here, but moved away three years ago.
