Ben Rice

Crash Music will be hosting Ben Rice, Saturday, May 20th. With an original, yet traditional, blues sound, whether he's performing with a band or solo, listeners will not be disappointed.

Ben Rice has been singing the past seven years, originating from Portland, Oregon. He combines Soul, Delta-Blues, Rockabilly, Jazz, and Funk into a unique and soulful sound. Although a blues singer, Rice has delved into many different genres, studying Jazz Guitar and classical music while performing in Celtic and Mariachi bands. Although Ben Rice has competed in national and international blues competitions, he keeps his tours mostly in the Northwest. Aztec is lucky that he will be traveling to the South West to perform. Rice not only provides great music but a great performance, bringing energy to the stage with his unique sounds.

There will be a raffle at the concert, for a chance to win one of Rice's custom made cigar box guitars. Also viewers will be getting two bands that night! The Shawn Arrington Band will be opening the night.

St. Claire's Winery and Bistro will be at the concert with beer, wine, and sandwiches. The concert will be Saturday, May 20th at Crash Music in Aztec. Tickets are on presale for $15, or $18 at the door.
