Gardening Workshop

Master Gardeners

January 6, 2017

Are you passionate about gardening? Do you wish you knew more? Once a month, from January through May, certified Master Gardeners will be conducting free workshops on various gardening topics at the Aztec Public Library, 319 S. Ash Ave, Aztec. The sessions will be held from 10 – 11:30 am one Saturday each month.

Who are the Master Gardeners? The New Mexico Master Gardener program began in 1981 in Albuquerque, and 15 of our counties currently have such programs. All Master Gardeners are volunteers for New Mexico State University and work through their local Cooperative Extension Service to provide accurate, research-based information to county residents through education and service.

Since class size is limited, please call the extension office at 334-9496 to register by Thursday noon before each Saturday class. Workshop flyers may be picked up at the library or at the San Juan County Extension office, 213-A S. Oliver Dr., Aztec. For more information, call 505-320-3441.
