At the request of Casey Jordan’s mother, Ms. Jamie Lattin, has asked Troy Bible of Tiger Alley Raceway to organize a community bonfire to be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at dusk.

The bonfire will take place at the Aztec North Main extension, located behind Madyson Mall. “The bonfire gives everyone a chance to write down their fears, hopes, and prayers, or a send-off letter as a closure of our Tiger Cub, Casey Jordan,” according to Bible. The bonfire will be lit at dusk by Casey’s mother.

One of Casey’s favorite activities was to drink coffee and enjoy a bonfire with family and friends. Casey’s mother would like the community to take this time to come together, before Christmas Break, to begin a healing process.

Because schools from the Four Corners area, and around the state, will be busing in students, Troy asks that community members of Aztec please park within a walking distance throughout the city to reserve parking for school buses.

Please dress warmly and bring coffee or hot chocolate for yourself and perhaps to share. Vendors and other services are welcomed but as a donation only.

Casey’s memorial services will be held earlier in the day, Sunday, December 17, at 11:00 AM at San Juan College Henderson Fine Arts Building.
