AZTEC BOYS & GIRLS CLUB ANNOUNCES A DEPARTURE

The Aztec Boys & Girls Club has announced the resignation of Teen Director Tabatha Lowman. According to the Club’s Chief Executive Officer, Mike Patch, Tabatha has accepted a position as Area Coordinator for White Pine County, a unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Truckee Meadows. Her last day at the Aztec Club will be June 23.

“For the last five years, Tabatha has been best-friend, confidant, and leader to the kids of Aztec through ABGC. For the last two years she has led a resurgence of the Teen Center, despite facility issues. Our Teen programs have become more inclusive and more participant-guided under her watch, a trend that is now taking root in Boys & Girls Clubs across the country,” Patch said.

ABGC would like to invite, teens, parents, staff and anyone who has learned from or worked with Tabatha to a celebration of her time at ABGC and a Bon Voyage to the journey and challenges ahead. The party will be held this Friday, June 16th at the Teen Center at 107 Simonds Rd from 6 to 8 PM. Please feel free to stop in and wish Tabatha well. Light refreshments will be served.
